This gal is a ballet dancer but came to me for help with portraits for acting and modeling agency representation. Bring a nice variety of outfits and a positive outlook, we were able in a short time get her many looks and styles that will help her get more noticed with the agency. Working in a studio gives great steady looks and can't wait to shoot outdoors as the weather breaks. 

Another great new talent is both a dancer and a model. She showed up and just knew how to handle herself and put everything in to the photoshoot. Being 15 yrs of age, she is a ballet dancer and just started in to modeling. She has a great future ahead of her. 

She started out with a modeling agency and has gone through training, enough to get a photoshoot done to practice her looks and motions. Working with alistmodelsandtalent located in Raleigh NC, we set up a date for pics. Enjoy her first shoot. 

Large home on a large lot secluded from traffic and big city noise. Plenty of room inside as well as a wrap around deck with a raised eating area. Green space leads up to a tree lined driveway. Two car garage and a recently finished basement fits well with the great bedrooms above.

This was a wedding that they created the atmosphere by themselves. In a fun Church setting, to the reception, the touches that they put together were just amazingly thought through. Enjoy viewing the photos of this great couple and friends.

Joey passed away 3 years ago and each year we hold a golf tournament to remember him and to help out his two kids. This year was no exception and was held at Rattlewood Golf Course. Teams played a scramble style game and 34 teams of 4 had fun. 

The weather was iffy, but the day turned out gorgeous. Weather forecasters had called for some cloudy and wet days, but fortunately they were wrong. This couple has been together for many years and between them have 5 girls combined/blended. Everyone looked amazing from the bride and her gown to the girls and their dresses. The ceremony was held indoors and was a small intimate setting of about 30 people. The food and of course cake were all out of this world. It shows that this couple/family has so much going for them. 

Took a springtime visit to Longwood Gardens to see the fabulous colors, greenery, flowers and plants on a recent gorgeous weekend. The plants were transitioning from the springtime to summer time looks; the fragrance of the flowers were delicately wafting throughout the grounds and people were taking picnic lunches and photo opportunities everywhere. The fountains were dancing in the air. Capturing the true essence of the flowers, I put on the Macro lens to allow up close views of the flowers and leaves. 

Young love sometimes has it challenges. These two have been together and gone through challenges and have come out ever stronger. High school graduation and pregnancy also has its challenges, but she did it and did it well. Congrats to this couple for working hard to keep the education going and to bringing in a bundle of joy in the near future. 

This Hanover Pa residence has been fully renovated and is in beautiful condition. Over 100 years old, but has the charm of today with hints of yesteryear. 

What fun but stressful times watching 6 yr olds learn the baseball tradition in hopes to grow up to be big league players. Middle River has a great team and group of coaches that make the games fun. 

A fine home being listed in the SW school district in Hanover, Pa. This duplex has 3 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, and a full basement. Built in the late 1990's this house will sell fast. 

Most car shows are held for a fundraiser and a way to show off the great restorations of the cars new and old. This one had over 230 cars registered with more that just showed up. The parking lots were full and spectators aplenty. Enjoy the images that were taken in a different form- macro. This allows a more detailed look and a close up look for the parts and engines, different than just the broad image of the car. Images are for sale and I hope you enjoy. 

Amazing times are occurring... with one college degree under her belt, Kara had decided she wanted to help people, and enrolled in nursing school. Attending Carroll Community College in Westminster, Md... she has excelled in her studies and will graduate on Wednesday May 29th. Next step.. study for the RN test and get a nursing job. 

What a great 2018 it was.. a tad slower than I would like, but the love that carried through the season was over the top. Can we top the love and bookings for 2019... I bet we can. I am keeping the pricing the same for 2019- with all day coverage starting about 2 hours prior to the ceremony to the end of the reception, $1250.00. I believe that awesome and fun photography doesn't need to be expensive. With over 30 years of experience, well, if I didn't still love weddings, I wouldn't still be photographing them. Recently traveled to the Stone Mill Inn, in Hallam, Pa., to photograph engagement photos. Met with one couple who braved the windy chilly weather that Sunday evening. We walked around the grounds and found many places to capture great images. From the limekiln from the 1800's to the wonderful pond to the fountain and the manicured green lawns, and lastly to the area of the mill and covered patio. I could go on and on about this location that Ken and his wife and consultant Nicole run, but it is best to see it for yourself. Make some time to stop by and walk around the grounds if you are looking for a wedding and reception location.

Took a ride to Union Mills Homestead recently to photograph Mom and her fun and spirited 2 yr old daughter. At first she wasn't having anything to do with photos, but then she warmed up and became a pro and didn't want to stop.. Such a cute fun loving kid.. enjoy the photos taken on a very bright fall day. 

Real estate sells faster when a solid set of photographs are presented in the listing. Today this house on Crossbridge Rd in Westminster, Md., was photographed for a listing to go active this week. Enjoy the photos and pass on to anyone looking for a house. 

Having seen many photos of the Concord Point Lighthouse, I decided one Saturday to drive over and actually see the area. What a great surprise to see a promenade right on the Susquehanna River where it meets the Chesapeake Bay. The wooden walkway travels about 3 miles through marshy areas right along the waters edge. A great day trip with several restaurants, and other attractions. While there, a blue heron was perched on a pier just watching the people looking at it. After quite a few pics of the heron, I walked along the promenade to other areas to see what all could be seen. Of course the Concord Point Lighthouse was in the viewfinder and many shots of the lighthouse were taken. As I was walking back to the main area, a bald eagle was flying overhead. Not many people recognized the bird until I made it known. All eyes were then skyward and as I was capturing the bald eagle, an osprey came down at the eagle with talons spread telling the eagle he was trespassing. Enjoy the photos and make sure you get over to the promenade soon. 

Started out at the Weddings on Memory Lane in Hershey Pa for the pre ceremony photos. What an amazing grounds for either the ceremony or reception or both- they have the barn, arbor with lights, and then the lake with a gazebo.. just a great place. The bride and her bridesmaids were located upstairs in the house getting their makeup and hair finalized, while the guys were downstairs preparing. Took some outside photos before the sun and temperatures became too hot for preceremony photos, so we just packed up and went to the church- Holy Name of Jesus Christ, Roman Catholic Church near Harrisburg, Pa. A full mass ceremony was had in a most gorgeous church. The bride and groom kissed and left out the front of the church to a bubble release. Once back at the Weddings on Memory Lane, lots of great photos were taken on the grounds of the large family groups. Then special time with just the bride and groom walking to the pond and then to the side of the 200 year plus old barn.. Great wonderful time, then was capped off with the bridal party entrance, dancing, eating and socializing. Klonk Entertainment provided the music and kept the dancing going to the very end where a sparkler send off occurred on the side of the barn. 

On July 4th, instead of going to picnics or just hanging at home, I traveled to Conowingo Dam to see what type of bird action there may be.. Since it is July, most eagles have hatched their young, and they have since fledged. Eagle activity decreases greatly from the 100 plus birds there in November to just a handful now. What I did capture was several great blue heron's that put on a great show near shore, and a few eagles that decided to fish nearby and then fly overhead to an awaiting tree to eat their catch. Take a look at the photos and enjoy the nature that is nearby us. 

Last Friday, June 30th took me up to the St Joseph Church in York Pa, where two very loving individuals got married. I met both of them about 10 months ago, to take their engagement photos at Chickies Rock, also in York Pa.. they are young and were unknowing how fast the wedding day would go. The ceremony was a full Catholic Mass and was a very special time with the brides Uncle as the Concelebrant. After the wedding ceremony, we took some very nice photos outside of the Church and then headed to the Outdoor Country Club of York for their reception. Waiting for us, were two golf carts and and an escort to take us out on to the greens for more wonderful photos. Lots of fun dancing and partying took place during the evening that ended just before 10pm.. take a look at the wedding photo samples presented on the website. .

What an amazing time with this couple. Met the guys getting ready at the local hotel, with a bottle of Jameson and tums sitting on the counter. I knew this would be a fun wedding. The guys all ready, some quick photos were taken prior to travelling a few miles to the gorgeous Stone Mill Inn in Hallam Pa. Arrival there is nothing but seeing this 1760's stone mill with impeccable grounds, green and lush, flowers all blooming and the ceremony and reception areas being prepared. While the groom and bestmen waited by the mill, I visited with the Bride and her gals, and best man, at the main mansion. The insides of this mansion were a photographer's dream. Walls all decorated with proper period artifacts, the drapes all perfect with the furniture to match. The bride standing tall in her gorgeous gown with her flowers at hand. The bridesmaids all were watching with tears in their eyes as their friend was getting married. Dad and mom both were in attendance, and dad showed his being proud by his tuxedo and tails, standing tall and beaming with joy. Photos were taken and well dad must have gotten something in his eye while standing next to his daughter as he had to go to the other room and take care of the watering eyes. Mom stood in with her daughter with the flowers perfected. More photos were taken prior to proceeding to do a first look for the groom and bride. When they saw each other all ready for the wedding, huge smiles came across each other and hugs and kisses abound. The ceremony was held next to the lime kiln with running water amongst the green lawn and under the trees.. a very picturesque scene. The ceremony and then additional photos on the grounds were covered before the reception started. Lots of fun and dancing occurred inside the mill where the floors were beautiful and the exposed wooden beams just made it all perfect. This past Sunday, May 29th, I had the pleasure to photograph a second wedding of the weekend. This time the Pembroke/Shields wedding. The weather was cloudy with showers in the area, but we all were determined to capture the beauty of the day outside for the wedding. Country Club of York was the venue and the gardens and stone terrace were spectacular in the spring glory. The groom dressed in tails had his groomsmen and three adorable neices standing with him, while the bride in an off white gown was escorted down the aisle by her dad.. The groom, not seeing his bride until the entrance, welled up in emotions and tears that had to be wiped away. Dad was beaming with joy that his little girl was getting married to her long time sweetheart of 17 years. Yes they were prom dates and have been together for oh so many years. The many family and generations at hand, not only were the wedding photos large, but so were the family photo sessions. Just a few are posted here as samples, but the time here was amazing. From the tails and tuxedos, to the box step for the fire dance, and not to be outdone by the groom and mother dance that started as a box step but transitioned in to country line dancing with the grooms sister joining in. What a great time was had by all. 

Almost 2 years ago, I photographed a couples wedding. The bride had two children from a prior and the groom had a daughter from a prior. We have kept in touch from that time on, and recently the son has started playing team lacrosse. Mom asked if I could come up to take photos of him and the team, up in Sinking Springs Pa... of course I did. When Austin saw me, he ran across the field and said hi to me. The oldest daughter, also gave me a huge hug... it was a great time. Wilson Lacrosse team won both games that I attended and photographed. What a great time.. can't wait to see what next year brings.. 

Mother Nature reminds us of her last try to make winter time and snowfall fun or a pest ( depending on your outlook ) to us all. But this weather when you can work at home, gives us a small amount of time to update websites, catch up on emails and other small stuff that has been piling up. This includes me and this website. Over the last few weeks, I have been updating and tweaking all that was needed and finally have it to where I feel it is showing my style and how I can help your organization or you with your photographic needs. On February 25th.. I met with the couple about ready to get married.. the groom all ready was calm and cool and collective, the bride ready with her gorgeous gown.. ready for the special day. Capturing images at the bride to be's house, included her young 94 year old mom as a bridesmaid and her daughters.. Although storms hit during the ceremony, the weather cleared out afterwards and a great reception was held overlooking York, Pa., at the Eagles Nest Restaurant.. Congrats to Missy and George..

January 1, 2017, will see some modest price increases and additional packages available for the bride and groom to choose from. If you know of a couple looking for a wedding photographer, they can book prior to the New Years to get 2016 pricing, or review the changes for the 2017 year. 

Another busy Saturday at the Union Mills Homestead where not one, but 5 families requested photos. Of course I will accommodate them. Starting about 10am, we had one family show up with 3 more relations coming for not only a group family photo session, but individual sessions with children as young as 2 months. The kids did great, it was the adults that forgot at times to look at the camera for that moment when all kids were looking forward.... Laughs and fun times definitely happened in this session. 

It was a busy day at the Union Mills Homestead that Saturday. Knowing that I am already photographing this couples wedding later in 2017, they asked if I could take more engagement photos and of course I said yes. We met at the Union Mills Homestead at 930am on a crisp fall Saturday morning. We chatted for a few and then proceeded to move around the campus to some great photo opportunity locations. The grist mill and its wheel, the stone wall at the bridge near the wheel, then over to the wooden bridge, up to the small pond with stone wall, then to the barn... all great locations for fun photos. Here is to 2017 and their wedding day. From the looks of the love between these two people, it will not only be a fun day, but a long lasting fun marriage. 

It was a warm fall day starting out when Rachel met the soon to be bride at their residence, and I went to the Pleasant Valley Volunteer Fire Company, where the groom to be Guy, was getting ready. I have known Guy and his dad for many years through the fire department and police department/security careers. The hall was set up by the ladies auxiliary and was looking great. Once getting the set up and getting ready photos completed, we traveled with the rescue squad down to Keysville to their church location, with Deacon Charlie Barnhart a long time friend of the fire department officiating. A gorgeous older church was a great background and stage for the exchanging of vows and some kind words from Charlie. Sealed with a kiss, the bride and groom exited the church following a bagpiper ( a tradition in the fire service ). Following the group and individual posed photos, we were greated with a strong chill outside prior to our travelling back to the firehouse for the reception. More photos and fun were had throughout the the night with dancing and consuming of great food and drink. Lots of photos taken and can be seen online. Here is to many years of fun times for this married couple.
